BIOGRAPHY
Before joining MFIP, Farida’s first legal job was at Baker & McKenzie. She then became an associate at Youssef & Partners (Y&P) where she focused heavily on commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration.
During her time at Y&P, Farida was involved in several cross border, high value disputes, in addition to being involved in the second largest commercial claim ever against the Egyptian state.
Her main focus was on the oil and gas, construction, and education industries, and her clients included Cementos La Union SA (and Aridos Jativa), CTIP Oil & Gas Ltd, British Columbia Canadian International School and INCOME (International Company for Petroleum & Industrial Services).
